How to Crochet Diamond Mesh Stitch

I've always wanted to know how to crochet Diamond Mesh Stitch. Funny enough, I once tried it as a border for one of my blankets, but let's just say, it did not work out as planned.

Some of the characteristics of the mesh crochet stitch are:

  • it's a chain- like;
  • open crochet stitch;
  • totally reversible;
  • also known as Chain Mesh stitch;
  • suitable for beginner crocheters; and
  • is a 2-row repeat pattern.

The pattern is a combination of single crochet stitches as well as chains (US terms).

That's is it - a very easy and time-saving crochet pattern.
