Caitlyn at Tundra Knits created the under the sea crochet quiet book in celebration of “World Ocean Day”.
The “finished book size is approximately 10″ x 8.5″and 3.5 inches thick. It stands up great on any shelf and would make the cutest addition to your kids’ bedroom”.
Who cannot agree with this? Both boys and girls will enjoy the ‘trip’ to the seaside whilst reading such a book.

crochet quiet book by amk crochet
AMK Crochet created smaller pages for her quiet book, which makes quite a cute booklet.
She used all kinds of crochet appliques from other bloggers and provide all the links for you.
One thing I want you to take away from her post is that you can take an idea and make it your own. But it does not necessarily mean you have to create it all from the very beginning.

Crochet Developing blocks – or crochet cubes
Crochet the 4″ x 4″ square and cross-stitch cacti on some of the sides.
If you don’t like cacti, search cross-stitch patterns on Pinterest and choose something you love.

I personally recommend this pattern book. The pattern is in principle a solid granny square, but the add-ons make it such a lovely activity block.
Choose between the farm or fairy princess themes.
