HOW TO CROCHET THE BODY OF MINNIE MOUSE

crochet for beginners the slip knot 1 Minnie Mouse Christmas Ornaments – Free Crochet Pattern for you

  1. Make a slip knot and ch 2 (don’t pull the knot to the hook otherwise all the stitches won’t fit in)
  2. In the second chain from the hook, work  2sc, 2hdc and 8dc
  3. Pull the yarn tail to close.
  4. You can close the round by making a ss into the first dc or alternatively:

Work 2 sc into the first of the 2 sc’s you started with (mark the first st with a st marker) or

If you are anything like me, you will just eyeball it!

NOTE:

I tested both options and preferred the latter (not to close the rounds) as it produced a neater finish.
