You need to crochet a pocket tissue pouch
Having the sniffs? You need to crochet a pocket tissue pouch to keep handy in your bag, car, pocket or diaper bag.
As a mother of adult children, with children, I am still the tissue box wherever we go!
The girly tissue pouch is quick and easy to make for all your friends, to sell at craft fairs or why not make it for yourself?
In case you are thinking, it is not suitable for boys or men, you can still use the pattern, without the scallops.

The scalloped edge:
Ch2, *sk next st, sc in following st, sk1, 6 x dc’s in next st**, rep from * to **, sc in last st.
Don’t cast off yet!
Lay the crochet piece flat and fold 3″ from the bottom towards the top of the pouch.
The fold will compromise 20 rows of the tissue pouch.
Pin the fold in place.
Now, you will continue where you last ended with sc (after the scallops)
Finishing:
Follow the instructions below to create your crochet tissue pouch from the rectangle (stitching it together with sc’s and slst’s).
Continue with 9 sc’s along the side of the pouch.
When you reach the fold:
sc in both the layers – 10 sc’s.
Bottom of the fold:
slst in 24 sts across.
sc in both the layers – 10 sc’s.
9 sc’s in next 9 rows.
Fasten off and weave in the ends.
Button Loop:
On the inside of the flap of your pouch, mark the middle of your crochet pouch, just below the scallops.
With yarn and hook, slst into the pouch, ch15 and slst next to the entry slst.
Secure and weave in ends.
Sew the button to the opposite side of the tissue pouch.
Well done – you finished one tissue pouch!
Now…make some more.
