How to Knit Mitered Lace Square – Free Pattern available
I came across the most delicate lace pattern on Pinterest, beautifully draped as a shawl, just to notice that it was in fact a knit mitered lace square pattern put together.
The particular knitter offers her finished products for sale on Etsy. She alternates the knit mitered lace squares in colour and different variations of the pattern to produce something unique every time.
I reproduced her pattern (one variation) but used pure cotton yarn for my sample.
My final product is not as delicate but still fairly dainty…
My first free knit pattern, was for a mitered knit square and you can grab it here. The first variation on the pattern , is available here.
- Knitting Needles (I used 4mm, 6US, 8UK)
- Elle Gold Double Knit (DK) yarn / Light worsted yarn
What you’ll need:
Suitable yarn, depending on your project
Knitting Needles according to the thickness of your yarn
I used:
Tapestry Needle/Blunt Needles (stitching it together)
