Simple Little Boxes Knit Stitch Pattern (For Beginners)
I have fond memories of jerseys knitted with the Little Boxes Knit Stitch Pattern. My Mom used to use this particular stitch and added a little collar to finish the knitted jersey off.
The pattern uses basic stitches and is a great choice for beginner knitters.
How to Knit Little Boxes Knit Stitch Pattern
The Little Boxes knitting pattern is an easy and simple knit-purl stitch using multiples of three stitches knitted over a 4-pattern row repeat.
The knitted pattern can easily be mistaken for Hurdle Stitch, though it is not quite the same.
Dashes of garter and stockinette stitch create welts or ridges that add great texture and are boxed off by vertical lines of a protruding rib.
The stitch is not reversible in the sense that it looks the same on both sides (though I kind of like the wrong side of the fabric).

- Double Knit (Yarn weight: Light / Worsted) Elle Yarn or yarn of your choice
