Appliques and applique fonts are bold and make such a statement. Whenever I have to embroider something for children, I tend to go with applique designs.

The three beach huts are perfect for embroidering on a towel – both for adults and children. The design includes the applique but not the font.
Every time I see beach houses in a row, it reminds me of the colorful beach houses on Muizenberg beach. Way back when I was expecting our first daughter we visited the Western Cape (South Africa) and I ‘overtanned’, if that is even a word! Why am I even telling you this? Maybe, to demonstrate that we have an affinity, a sentiment with certain places, images, smells, and tastes.
Some of us, store patterns from a shirt, rocks from a beach or beach huts in our memories!

Anyone with toddlers in the home knows the tune of the Baby Shark song! And if you are a Grandma and you have not heard, or of it, it means that your grandchildren have outgrown this phase.

Add a name or initials to make it even more personal.
